Self V Freedom

Self V Freedom was established over 15 years ago. We saw the need that the whole student needed to be educated about self and their purpose in life. We developed a Self-Awareness/Character Building Curriculum to address the need for grades 1 through 12, and a Parent's Companion Manual, as well as several children's books. These books and also the Self-Awareness/Character Building Curriculum are being used in Public Schools Districts in Wisconsin, New York, Atlanta, and Washington, DC.

Is Your Child Prepared for the 21st Century?

We are living in a new era for change. Everything is changing so fast until, without knowledge of self, change can be confusing to our mind. What do you think about our children?s mind? It is crucial that we educate the whole child by raising his/her awareness. This will bring out the wonderful inner qualities that lies within. As they become aware of their beautiful inner qualities, they will be more eager to prepare themselves for the 21st Century. These wonderful inner qualities will become a part of their lives: Love, trust, honesty, fairness, kindness, compassion, self-motivation, etc. Children will learn how to love themselves. This will lead to a good self-image, which is essential for healthy lives. The mental picture that children hold in their mind?s eye will determine the future. Always find something to praise the child for. Say to the child, ?You are wonderful and I love you.? Our focus should be on helping the child to understand that he/she is the highest form of life on this planet. This allows the child success on a physical, economic, and spiritual level. Keep in mind that the whole child must be educated in order to live harmoniously in the 21st century.
